Branding Project
Radnika Foundry
Radnika Foundry is a business specializing in creating fonts for different online and print uses. After a few years of font creation, the company changed its logo to something better. Their old logo consists of just the business name in a Roboto font.
I started by researching what makes the fonts by Radnika Foundry great. The answer was clear, understandable, bright, modern, and stylish. So I wanted the logo to have the same qualities as the company. Radnika Foundry wanted the logo as a signature included in their font characters.
I started by designing a mark that makes sense on the characters menu and will not just look like a signature. I then checked different sizes for the design to ensure it was visible and clean in different size fonts.
I then tested the mark vs. the main fonts Radnika Foundry makes to see if it could be a signature for more than one font.
I added more readability by making the primary color marked black. The black color is because it was a font and needed to behave like one.
Then, I tested the new logo in different mockups to see how it would like on printed for the company assets. Finally, I added the logo to business cards, envelopes, notebooks, and more.
The overall design was satisfactory. The logo ended up having many applications and following all the rules given by Radnika Foundry.
